Front Mission Evolved E3 Trailer

Holy crap, the last Front Mission I can remember was way back in the era of the first Playstation. Just like Final Fantasy Tactics it was an round based strategy type of RPG. Let's hope it stays like that, becaus this trailer leads to the thought that it could be the next Armored Core.

Borderlands E3 2009 Trailer

PSP Go Unveiled - Pics Here

Isn't it strange how many trailers and info are 'leaked' before the main event starts? I wonder if there will be any more big surprises. Anyway, here are some pics of the Playstation Portable Go. It will have a 3,8" LCD screen, 16GB internal memory and 43% lighter in weight than the original PSP. It will have Bluetooth but no UMD slot. That's right, it won't feature any hard mediums. Instead the PSP Go will let you download games and movies. I think that's bullshit but in times of Steam, XBL Arcade, Onlive and iTunes I am sure that there are more than enough people willing to pay without getting a case for their collection. Plus I think that my good old PSP looks better, but that's just me...

Head over to Gaming Universe for some more pics.

Dead Rising 2 E3 Trailer

Zombies. Many zombies.

GT Prototype Preview And E3 Trailer

It looks really good but still I wonder if it will get as good reviews as Infamous. There is one review out yet and it gave 9/10.

Nier First Trailer

It's Square Enix first hack'n'slay to conquer the west. But will it stand a chance against games like Devil May Cry, Dante's Inferno, Darksiders or Bayonetta? What do you think?

(I didn't list God of War because no one will reach Kratos! Ever!)

Tekken 6 E3 Trailer

Tekken is back. And don't think wrong, the Streets of Rage like Beat'em Up mode is anything but revolutionary, Tekken 3 on Playstation 1 had it. Personally I don't give a fuck about Tekken, I'd liked to see a new Dead or Alive 10 times better!

Big Daddy Playable In Bioshock 2 Multiplayer

Just found that on Eurogamer. Quoted the interesting parts for you:

[...]
Turrets are another f***ing great example of this," says Miller, warming to her theme. "I remember we were testing the game one weekend and I kept just going to one turret. As soon as I got in, I'd hack that turret and that became my little battle zone... At one point I got a four-kill streak between the turret and myself, and everyone was like, 'what the hell?'
[...]
Set before the fall of Rapture, it tells the story of the civil war between the followers of Frank Fontaine and Andrew Ryan,
[...]
In keeping with BioShock's knack for complex themes in simple wrapping, it's tied to the experience system.Playing as a product tester for plasmid and tonic manufacturer (and war market profiteer) Sinclair Solutions, you go to battle in deathmatch, team deathmatch and another unannounced game mode and accumulate ADAM rewards via kills, assists and other achievements. This helps you to march through 20 ranks, divided into categories like "Bronze Club" and "Silver Society", announced with the triumphal faux-naivety common to BioShock's vending voice-overs. When you rank up, you can return to your apartment and receive messages from Sinclair representatives, which help fill in the narrative blanks, rather like the first game's audio logs. "You are going in and you are becoming part of that history and contributing to Rapture's destruction," says Miller.
[...]
"We wanted to bring Big Daddies into multiplayer, obviously - they're iconic," says Bérube. "We treat them as a power-up, so you get to be a Big Daddy for as long as you can survive."
[...]
"If there's anything brought over from BioShock 1, it's been rebuilt from scratch for multiplayer," says Miller.
[...]

Sounds interesting at least. We'll see if it delivers.

New Op Flashpoint 2 Videos

Hmm, looking good. Takes just another path as Modern Warfare 2. Still can't decide between those two.

NFS Shift Trailer

Seems like EA is so proud to finally have a cockpit perspective in a NFS title. Just makes me wanna play GRID. For those who care: The game is coming September 17th in Europe and September 22nd in the US. First in Europe?!

Supreme Commander 2

This RTS is coming from Square Enix. I'm not sure if it's developed or published by them, but one thing's for sure: In videogames war is a cool thing. I am glad that I have the fortune to live in a peaceful part of the world on the other hand. In real life war isn't cool. It's coming PC and 360 some time next year.

Brütal Legend Cinematic

The king of roadies has arrived to liberates the land of rock!

Mass Effect 2 E3 2009 Trailer

Shepard is alive! But be prepared, this mission is not easy and chances of survival are slim! My most wanted 2010 game!

Bethesda's Brink

Sorry for the lack of updates once again, but my real life isn't always easy. Complicated fits it better. But back to business!
Brink is Bethesda's new game. It will release in Spring 2010, according to this teaser. Doesn't say much. It's in the future and there's a rebellion. I guess we'll see more on E3. I wonder why they published it now... Anyway, enjoy!

The Hunt For Gollum

Okay, this isn't really game related, but I guess everyone loves Lord of the Rings anyway. Thing is that this week is relatively boring, being the silence before the storm with next week's E3, the world's biggest and most important videogame expo.
What I will feature is a fan-made but very professional film adaption of one of the many sidestories of the Lord of the Rings universe. It's The Hunt For Gollum and in chronology it's before the main quest of the fellowship of the ring starts.
The movie is approximately 40 mins long and in high def. Enjoy!

Top Ten PS2 Games

Yeah, Top Tens. Everybody watches until the end and complains then. I think this here's an ambitious one and worth featuring. Plus you might learn about some games you didn't knew. For example: I never knew that there was a worthy sequel to the first Tenchu game.

The Cancelled Alien DS Game In Movement

I'd say this looks not bad for an Alien DS game. It reminds me of Alien 3 for the Sega Mega Drive. Shame that it's cancelled.

For comparison Alien 3:

E3 Rofls

Haha, I just thought I'd share those gifs with you! After all there's truth in these gifs. Let's hope for a great E3. Yes, Nintend'oh, I'm looking at you!

2nd GTA IV DLC: The Ballad of Gay Tony

The previous rumor was proven to be wrong. The second Xbox 360 exclusive GTA IV DLC will be called The Ballad of Gay Tony. What a strange title. In it you will play as Luis Lopez, the bodyguard of the infamous night club tycoon Tony Prince, also known as Gay Tony. And yes, you know him from the main game. He has something to do with the museum mission making the holy trinity rumor actually true.

Another interesting thing is that both DLCs will be released on one retail disc which will run stand alone. That's nice.

Here's the more or less official announcement:

New York, NY - May 26, 2009 - Rockstar Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), is proud to announce the fall release of both the second episode of Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony - exclusively for download on Xbox LIVE® online entertainment network, and Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, which will include both episode one The Lost and Damned, and episode two The Ballad of Gay Tony together on a single disc exclusively for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. "Liberty City is the most vibrant game world we've created yet. The episodic structure has allowed us to interweave stories, gameplay and atmosphere in a whole new way," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. "The team at Rockstar North have yet again surpassed themselves, and made something that is both epic and very innovative. This episode's focus on high-end night life contrasts with the biker gangs portrayed in The Lost and Damned, whilst giving us a lot of new gameplay possibilities." Grand Theft Auto IV's second downloadable episode, The Ballad of Gay Tony injects Liberty City with an overdose of guns, glitz, and grime. As Luis Lopez, part-time hoodlum and full-time assistant to legendary nightclub impresario Tony Prince (aka "Gay Tony"), players will struggle with the competing loyalties of family and friends, and with the uncertainty about who is real and who is fake in a world in which everyone has a price. Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City delivers two games on one disc - the all-new episode The Ballad of Gay Tony and the first episode, The Lost and Damned - together on disc for the first time - for Xbox 360 for $39.99 and will not require a copy of the original Grand Theft Auto IV to play. The Ballad of Gay Tony will release on Xbox LIVE this fall for $19.99 or 1600 MS points and requires players to have Grand Theft Auto IV for Xbox 360 and Xbox LIVE membership to download.

Diablo III The Fallen

Finally something new on Diablo III! This short videos shows of The Fallen, enemies you will encounter in the world of Tristram. They sure look familiar if you've played Diablo II. Only that this time there are more kinds of them, for example war dogs and balloon ones, that look like they burst.
I hope that we will soon see some more important news on this one. A release date would be good to start with.

First Real Modern Warfare 2 Trailer

So here's the first real Modern Warfare 2 trailer, not some snippets as before. Opinions about this are splitted. While some hail it as the next step other's fear a mediocre action game. I think this game will rock, but what about you? Leave a comment!

Heavy Rain New Video

Mad Jack tries to take out an officer. If this is actual gameplay and characteristic for the endproduct this game would be like a movie with quicktime events. But let's wait and see. Anyway, this game looks promising.
