First Dragon Age DLC Day One = Bullshit

On the release day of Dragon Age: Origins there will also be the appearing of several download contents. I don't like it and I am confused by the sheer amount of different DLCs but, hey, whatever. The following trailer shows you a DLC no edition of the game will contain. It's a new quest and, based on the trailer, it looks cool, but I think I'll pass that until I have finished the main game itself. I doubt that it is clever to release new missions on the launch day for a game that is said to have about 80 hours of playtime. Make it like Bethesda and release content when the time is right.



The Stone Prisoner DLC is the next thing every new purchase of the game is getting for free. I remember that this DLC was promised for the buyers of the Collector's Edition only, but things have changed. Now everyone gets a code within the fresh sealed copy of Dragon Age. I think this is Bioware's way of forcing people to stop buying used games, like Epic did with Gears of War 2's retro multiplayer map pack (which is IP banned in Germany anyway). It sounds substantial.
