A game more ambitious than Bioshock? If you've played that game, thought about the perspective it throws on our morals, really understood what it was about and get that combined with killer gameplay, graphics and sound, you know why Bioshock won the GotY in 2007, a year many gamers considered as the most important this decade. So how can a game be even more ambitious? The driving master mind behind Bioshock was Ken Levine, the man who decided to give his child in other hands and doesn't work on Bioshock 2 in favor of working on an unanounced project. No one knows what this game is - a brand new game or perhaps System Shock 3?
Now Ken Levine spoke to Gamasutra.
While 2K Games is hard at work on BioShock 2, 2K Boston's Ken Levine has his own project. A project that he says is "more ambitious than anything we've ever done."
"I think that when we think about a project now... When we thought about this project, we accounted for the fact that hiring the staff that we needed to hire would take some time," Levine told Gamasutra.
"And when we thought about the shipping date of the project... We needed a certain kind of length for the title, because we had a scope and ambition in mind which is more ambitious than anything we've ever done. Even more, substantially more ambitious than BioShock. And we knew that was not going to happen overnight."
