This video shows evidence that the upcoming Xbox Live Arcade release of Sonic & Knuckles will have a so called lock on feature that allows you to combine it with Sonic The Hedgehog 2. 16Bit Mega Drive gamers like me know that this was the big thing back in the 90s. With the special Sonic & Knuckles cardridge you were able to put another Sonic game on top and if you combined it with Sonic The Hedgehog 2 you could play it with Knuckles as main character which gave you brand new possibilities. Oh, that were times... Shame this wasn't possible in The Ultimate Sega Mega Drive Collection.
