I freakin love Lord of The Rings and this game, it seems to be hand tailored for me!

Sorry for the slow flow of updates lately but I am moving to another flat. I am busy, but will continue to post asap.

[3DS] Resident Evil: The Mercenaries Gameplay
I see a few things I like here: Walk and shoot (what a revolution), FPS aim when camera zooms behind character and some very sweet graphics.

LOTR: War In The North - Council Cut Trailer
Finally a fine LOTR hack'n'slay game again. And according to IGN Peter Jackson will bring The Hobbit to cinemas in 2012 and 2013! I am excited.
Mass Effect 2's Last DLC Bridges The Gap
The arrival of the reapers. Somehow I really feel bad watching this. I haven't played any of the Mass Effect 2 DLCs yet, at least not those extra missions you have to pay for. I am even stuck in the 2nd playthrough with my evil female Shepard. Still I love this game probably more than most other games. Hopefully a time of gaming opportunities will come again later this year for me.

Duke Nukem Forever Delayed To June 10th
The Duke never comes early. If it's bug free then the delay is justified. I won't give up on this one yet. It is closer to be released than ever yet.
Three Ways of Playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Dungeon Siege 3: Katharina Trailer
Meet one of the playable characters in Dungeon Siege 3. I am interested to see more of this game as the release of May 31st nears.

Hunted: The Demon's Forge Preview
From my hands on impression on GamesCom 2010 I can say that this game will be a good actioner for inbetween.
Concerning The Near Future of PG
Fellow readers,
I safely returned home from my holiday trip. Now a time of work and business awaits me. The coming months aka the coming semester will keep me working effortful until September of this year. I will have to make a clear decision and without a doubt my professional life will have priority. Nonetheless I won't abandon Personal Gaming. I still love to play games, even if I can't play them anymore as often as in the past. The blog will continue in one form or another. Most likely I might not be able to post as much as before, but we will see about that.
I will very likely restructure the page once again and hopefuly get google ads again, which have been taken down because of violated usage regulations and the case of me in holiday being not able to respond to Ad Sense's complaint. Of course, you should click the ads only if you are interested in the product. I would like to state that the little money I get for blogging around here is not anywhere equal to the time I invest in the site, but as student with low economic power every Cent is welcome.
The most important thing: I would not publish here if there were no people who consume it. And with this I would like to thank my long time readers for their support and continueing interest in PG. I still do this blog for you who are the same excited about games like me.
Your host,
Hans

Break Until 26th
I will pause with the blog until the 26th of March since I am on a vacation to Lietuva. I will continue the blog afterwards, but I have a feeling that some changes need to be done since this thing is eating a lot of time which I sadly dont have too much anymore. Anyway, see you then!
Brink: A Matter Of Class
A very promising title. And just in time. Rebel or regime supporter? Pro or contra gaddafi? Okay, forget about the last one. We have a fallout to attend.
Batman: Arkham City - Debut Gameplay Trailer
Rocksmith: The Real Guitar Game
Guitar Hero is dead but I think this could be a clever next step for the idea of rocking in your living room.

Battle L.A. The Game Launch Trailer
A typical not that good movie to game adaptation. But they learned, releasing this as low price DLC game and not as full price retail title.

Mortal Kombat 9 Demo Gameplay
What a nice demo gameplay blowout of Mortal Kombat 2011. I probably should've invested my money in this fighter instead of Marvel Vs Capcom 3, in which I totally suck. Still there will be no fighter in this generation reaching the greatness that is Super Street Fighter IV.

PAX 11: Duke Nukem Forever - Gameplay

Shift 2 Has "Dangerous Corners"
Strange headline for a strange video. Sad but true, but the best NFS in this generation yet has been Most Wanted, the very first one. Perfect arcade gameplay combined with a well designed open world. Not like that empty sandbox in the new Hot Pursuit.
Hulk Hogan Vs John Cena
I watched some Wrestling as ten year old and of course I know both Hulk and John Cena. The latter for his great action movie The Marine. Still I have a feeling that this game is more for wrestling fans. And let's be honest: Wrestling games most of the time suck anyway.

LA Noire: Investigation And Interrogation Dev Diary
Wow, I am really amazed by what is shown here! After GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption Rockstar Games once again puts out another sure hit title and it might nobody surprise getting LA Noire the Game of the Year award for 2011.

AC: Brotherhood 'The Da Vinci Disappearance' - Launch Trailer
One of the games very high on my still have to play list. Right now it's Bayonetta and I really like that game. But I know of the greatness that is Assassin's Creed.

GDC 11: Alice: Madness Returns Interview With Gameplay
NFS Shift 2: Some Surferguy Tells You About Autolog
I have made a short experience with autolog. It's just a comparison of the track times with your friendslist. Basically the same thing that GRID had years before.
Fallen Frontier: Debut Trailer
GS, IGN Video Reviews of Dragon Age 2
The main protagonist has a voice now. Thank you for the necessary, Bioware. On the other hand the game is more like Mass Effect 2 than Baldur's Gate, according to Gamespot.
GDC 11: Uncharted 3: Cutscene And Interview
Some Old Skool Street Fighter II Commercials
Oh, the golden times. What a feeling having grown up with Street Fighter II. And I still love the series. Just have a look at the above box art. Blanka always ruled.
MvC 3: Shuma Gorath And Jill Gameplay
The new DLC characters arrive in a few days! Jill Valentine for the Capcom side and Shuma Gorath for the Marvel side. Jill is like Wesker taken from RE5, means she has blond hair.

Level up in the Crysis 2 multiplayer. I played the demo and it seems to be nice. I am not the type for those FPS multiplayer but I think it was good.
Anarchy Reigns: Fight To The Death Trailer
Indepent Games Festival 2011 Awards
Independent developers remain a resource of innovation for this heavily capitalized gaming industry.
Tekken 6 Meets Street Fighter
The shown footage is fan made stuff and no gameplay of Tekken X Street Fighter. I expect it to look as something like this however.
