Lately the internet leaked on the next Tomb Raider game. Seems like Lara is once again getting a reboot. The pic above contains German text and due to the fact that I'm a German I'll translate the important things for you:
A storm destroyed Lara's research ship and the young and inexperienced adventuress lands on a far and mysterious island hidden on the edge of the Japanase coast. Though many signs hint at habitants the island seems to be left and strange noises out of the shadows create a dangerous mood. With her will, her inner power and her ingeniuty as only help Lara has to survive the quests of a raw and merciless journey which will let her travel through the enourmous wilderness of the island, deep into the narrow and threatening subterranean tombs of the past. While she fights brutal battles to defeat her opponents und masters treacherous researches Lara is drawn to the maximum of her abilities and forced to evolve in her environment to survive and escape form the deadly enemies that hunt her closely.
The story sounds interesting to me. Seems like it's a prequel again. Check out the latest Hard News for some more concept art:
