The latest GTtv episode is out and it delivers lots of new information on Mass Effect 2. Geoff Keighly visits Bioware in Canada and talks to Dr. Ray, Greg Zescuk and Casey Hudson.
Here's a short conclusion:
- Shepard works for the Cerberus Company to reach his goals, a syndicate of villains you know from the first game.
- All of the characters from the first game are in Mass Effect 2.
- There'll be a new character class. It's called Vanguard and gives you a charge ability, that kinda reminds me of Bioshock's Big Daddy.
- Your ship, the Normandy has improved. Normandy 2.0!
- Shepard's appearance is influenced by how you behave. Like in Fable 2 an evil playstyle will leave it's marks.
- The head of Cerberus, The Illusive Man, is a ruthless pro human guy. You work with him, but you will find yourself often in conflict with his interests.
- There'll be better DLC support than for the first game.
