Top selling predecessor Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has sold 21.5 million units as of March 2008, meaning that GTA4 is nearly halfway to San Andreas' lifetime sales. With a PC port and additional downloadable content on the horizon, expect GTA4's success to continue.
10 million is pretty good and proving once again that GTA is the blockbuster franchise gaming has to offer. No wonder that TakeTwo and Nintendo plan to collaborate. E3 2008 brought the announciation of 'Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars' and now there are first hints about a GTA on Wii. But not a port of GTAIV which the Wii wouldn't be powerful enough for.
10 Millions in less than half a year... Awesome!
